“La Vaca Viajera”
Lola by Fiorella Amaya
The adventure began in 2018 with a cow-print pajama, a clown nose, a backpacker’s bag stuffed with donations, and my first solo trip to southern Peru for a volunteer experience. I was about to turn 25, deep in my quarter-life crisis, wondering what meaning I could give to my life—more than just working like a robot in a big company. And that’s how the idea of traveling with purpose was born—turning what could’ve been just another vacation into a life-changing journey. That trip sparked my passion for helping indigenous and Andean communities, and from that moment on, I dedicated myself to supporting them in any way I could. ![]()
After many initiatives were impacted by COVID-19, Viaje con Causa is reinventing itself, emerging as a new experiential tourism proposal inspired by the adventures of the memorable years of La Vaca Viajera. Today, we are building partnerships so you can travel with purpose, supporting children in the Amazon and Andes regions.
